Node Location Estimation in Wireless Sensor Networks by Automatic Acquisition of Channel Model

(in English) A technology where by anytime, anywhere, anyone can easily access information they want is required in an ubiquitous networks society.
Therefore, a sensor network technology that can collect a variety of information depending on the surrounding environment are promising. Also the technology for specifying the position of the source is required.
In this paper, we study about the node location estimation that can be used in underground and indoor using the sensor nodes.
In location estimation using sensor nodes, Reference nodes communicate with unknown node and presume the location by receiving intensity of electro-magnetic wave.
Therefore, to estimate the location of an unknown sensor nodes over a wide range, it is necessary to install many reference nodes extensively beforehand.
Previously, we proposed a method to get the location of the reference node automatically.
But location error occurred because location estimation accuracy is poor.
In this paper, we propose a method to get automatic acquisition of channel model for each reference node to be used in the position estimation of unknown node, and attempt to improve the location estimation accuracy.
