This paper proposes a new approach to analyze time-specific failure frequency and time-specific success frequency for telecommunications networks, where these frequencies are indices to describe time fluctuations of how frequently failures occur. Some researchers proposed efficient analysis methods for these indices. However, they have limitations because they have a special assumption that the probability of successes of telecommunications networks are expressed by the special form called multilinear polynomials, while we have irregular cases which we cannot assume this special assumption. Now, this paper first proposes a new efficient method using a matrix expression, which can be applied without the special assumption. This new approach can reduce the computation times of analyses for time-specific failure/success frequency. |
