| 抄録 | （和） | 番組の視聴者が映像のどのような領域に注目しているかを知ることは，視聴者の興味度推定やより効率的に情報を伝える番組の制作において有用な知見となる．ニュース番組を視聴している際の眼球運動計測を多数の視聴者に対して行い，視線分布の統計量と内容の理解度との関係を調べた結果，両者には一定の相関関係が見られ，番組の受容特性を評価する際の指標として有効であることが示唆された．さらに，多人数同時計測による効率的な計測や広視野視聴環境での計測に対応した視線測定システムを開発し，種々の映像や視聴環境において視線分布の分析を行った．その結果，画像特徴量である顕著性マップと組み合わせることでコンテンツ評価や映像システムの特性評価に有効な知見が得られた．これらの研究事例について紹介する． |
| （英） | It is helpful for people who produce TV programs to know on which part of the program the viewers attended with respect to estimating the viewer’s interest and/or making a program that conveys producer’s intention effectively. We conducted experiments to collect a large amount of viewers’ eye movements when they were watching news programs and the distribution of them were analyzed. The statistics of the distribution showed a correlation with the degree of comprehension of the news program. Furthermore, we developed an eye-gaze tracking system which enables us to track the eye-gaze of multiple viewers simultaneously or to track it in wide field-of-view environment. The analysis of eye-gaze data collected by the system showed some effective findings through a comparison with the saliency maps. | |
