Study of network global optimization methods

(in English) Due to recent service diversification and traffic increase, network optimization is required for effective utilization of limited resources. Network optimization is roughly classified into optimal path computation and globally optimal assignment. However, globally optimal assignment, which realizes global optimization, is not often used in practical network. In this paper, we classified network changes into four patterns and analyzed the adaptability of globally optimal assignment to them. In addition, we studied methods of globally optimal assignment for large-scale disasters and periodical demand changes, to which globally optimal assignment adapts well based on the analysis.
