Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In Aso area, more than 160 species of birds inhabit. However, due to changes of the global environment, the path of migratory birds, route, and distance changes, viral pathogens, such as foot-and-mouth disease or bird flu that seems to be caused by them attack the civilization.
The object of this research is to understand the distribution and habitat of migratory birds by applying an automatical recognition technology of the bird singing. In this report, we show the results of an identification rate of the preliminary experiments as a reference applying the conventional speech recognition method.
