| (in English) | In modern web services which dominate a large part of traffic, a number of rich objects, which are dynamically produced by servers and client PCs, are delivered from diverse locations, and we face complication in the communication structure of traffic generated in web services. CDN (contents delivery network) is often used when delivering objects of web sites. To improve the response time and suppress the amount of traffic transferred in networks, we need to adequately control caches, i.e., placement and replacement of objects, based on the communication structure of web traffic. In this paper, we measure the communication structure generated at accessing various web sites from experimental client PC and investigate the trends of various characteristics of web traffic. We clarify the tendency of traffic in each object type and URL category and suggest efficient approach of cache control. | |
