Development of an Automatic Scoring Function for Hands-on IP Network Practice System

(in English) Network beginners learn how to configure network devices by IP network building practice. Configuration procedures are specified in practice problems. In the practice, students verify the network by using network command such as traceroute command and ping command. If the network does not work well, students have to find incorrect configuration items from output information of network commands and configurations for each device, and modify them. However, it is difficult for students to find incorrect items by such information. Therefore, we have developed an automatic scoring function for our IP network practice system. This function indicates scoring results visually. Using this function, students can find wrong configurations easily.
