Evaluation of 30 Gbps Super High Bit Rate Mobile Communications Using Channel Data in 24x24 MIMO Outdoor Experiment

(in English) Performances of 30 Gbps super high bit rate mobile communications are evaluated by computer simulations using channel data measured by 24x24 MIMO outdoor experiment, and the feasibility is verified. More than 10 Gbps super high bit rate mobile communications have been studied to achieve higher bit rate in mobile communications, and 10 Gbps transmission using 11 GHz band 8x16 MIMO has been verified by outdoor transmission experiments. In addition, radio propagation experiments has conducted channel measurement and analysis in 11 GHz band 24x24 MIMO. Although 24x24 MIMO transmission can achieve the bit rate of greater than 30 Gbps, its transmission experiments have never been performed due to the limitation of hardware. In this report, computer simulations of the MIMO-OFDM eigenmode transmission are conducted by exploiting channel data measured by 24x24 MIMO channel sounder, and clarifies that throughput of greater than 30 Gbps can be achieved in the 11 GHz band.
