Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) With the advance of wireless technologies, a wide variety of RF chips and digital baseband logic chips are developed by many manufacturers. AC coupling is widely used to interconnect those chips because it can accommodate the difference of DC bias voltage between the chips. However, it attenuates the low-frequency component of the signals, and thus causes the baseline wandering problem that fluctuates the potential reference voltage. This paper proposes three pre-coding methods in the transmitter side to remove this baseline wander, and evaluate their performance by simulation and an actual system result.
