Weighted Cooperative Sensing Based on Database for Cognitive Vehicular Networks

(in English) A cognitive radio has been attracted attention as the promising technique to improve the spectral efficiency. In the recent years, it has been considered that a cognitive radio is applied to the Wireless Vehicular Networks (WVN). However, there is a possibility that the gain of cooperative sensing is degraded, because the WVN has different environment for cooperative sensing such as, space distribution of cooperative node, high mobility, radio environment and so on. Therefore, we propose a weighted cooperative sensing method based on radio environment database information. The database stores long-term average signal power included the shadowing gain in each spatial block. With database information, the proposed method can adaptively decide the weighting factor based on relative position and average channel status. In this paper, we show better performances of the proposed technique through the computer simulation.
