Fault Tolerant Backup System from File System to Object Storage

(in English) Recently, a backup technology which can backup files in a file system to a cloud storage, especially an object storage have been in demand for a file system on a file server. Enterprise customers require a write-once-read-many function which can limit to modify or delete files and objects for keeping data integrity. The progress of backup is needed to be kept in a volatile area in case of the file server failure and the file system needs to recovery depending on the progress. In this paper, we propose a system that can keep the progress in the fixed file in the file system and recovery using this file, and evaluate the effect of performance of the backup.
