(in English) In order to realize the highly accurate tissue characteristics diagnosis using ultrasound, it is necessary to clarify the relationship between the physical properties and the structure and composition have assorted biological tissue.
On the observation of tissue structures using an acoustic microscopy, it is possible to know the acoustic characteristics of tissues that can not be known in the pathological examination using an optical microscope. We tried to observe the detailed structures of rat organs, and measure the speed of sound of each organ by using 250 MHz ultrasonic transducer.
