FDTD analysis of single source model in periodic structure

(in English) In recent years, metamaterials are widely investigated in microwave engineering, antenna engineering and so on, because that they exhibit novel characteristics that may not be found in nature. To analyze periodic structures by using a FDTD method, we can efficiently analyze by applying a periodic boundary condition around a unit structure. The model that have single source such as antenna problem near periodic structure is often analyzed. If a usual periodic boundary condition is applied to this model, it is modeled that the source such as antenna is also modeled as periodically. This paper proposed a novel FDTD calculation technique to analyze single source problem in periodic structures using array scanning method.
