Demonstration of Multi-GNSS Advanced RAIM Algorithm using GPS and Galileo Signals

(in English) Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) algorithms were developed in the early stage of GPS-based navigation to ensure integrity in aviation for non-precision approach phases of flights. With recent development of GNSS and the availability of new signals, the interest in further developing RAIM for more demanding phases of flights has been increased. The Advanced RAIM algorithm proposed by GEAS is one of the new RAIM algorithms, utilizing the multi-GNSS environment to improve the performance of RAIM. In this paper, the ARAIM algorithm is implemented with real data input, containing both GPS and new Galileo E1 signal from the 4 new satellites. Implementation results of ARAIM are also compared with that of traditional RAIM algorithms, showing the improvement of ARAIM and possibility of real-life implementation.
