(in English) The number of access points of wireless LANs (WLANs) is increasing to satisfy the growing wireless traffic and the rapid increase of the cellular traffic requires the cost-effective traffic offload. The WLAN is expected to be a promising solution to support large data traffic with low-cost access points. This report studies the WLAN/Cellular cooperation techniques for future radio access and mobile optical network. Although the WLAN frequency bandwidth of greater than 500MHz is attractive, the throughput per user in WLAN systems may be degraded due to various problems such as unmanaged medium access control and/or unexpected intra/inter system interferences. This paper focuses on the residential scenario and shows the WLAN throughput using the PHY/MAC simulator. In addition to it, we show the candidates of the performance indicator of the WLAN throughput stability.
