An Evaluating Method for Fundamental Dynamical Parameters of Objects on a Printed Circuit Board (3) -- Properties of the Responses using Rectangular Wave & Sinusoidal one as Input --

(in English) Authors have designed and developed the mechanism which gives vibration to electrical contacts by transient force using hammering oscillation and they have analyzed the effects of micro-oscillating on contacts. They propose a simple, new, and practical evaluation method for the transient phenomena and for the degradation phenomena of electrical contacts. In this paper, they consider natural frequency among factors dominant to degradation of electrical contacts when the external force operates on the connector placed on the PCB, and discuss the characteristic between input and output during rectangular oscillation. First, they obtain the steady-state responses using theoretical inputs developed by Fourier series and the analytical outputs when input waveforms are sinusoidal and rectangular. Next, following the characteristics of input waveform, the kinetic nature of the system has the effects on the output waveform, which are remarkable in case of rectangular input. Finally, it is shown that the time-sequential force, which is obtained by hammering oscillation mechanism, is approximated to delta function, and that impulsive response occurs by the force if the r value of rectangular waveform is smaller than 0.005. Therefore it is shown that there are the dynamical parameters to be evaluated and the process of the degradation phenomenon of electrical contacts to be analyzed.
