Nonlinear Model of BOLD signal without detrending

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper presents a nonlinear model of human brain response to visual stimuli according to BOLD signal scanned by fMRI.
BOLD signal contains low frequency signal called ``trend'' component, which is often ignored by the existing mathematical models and removed by some approximation.
However, such detrending could destroy the dynamics of the BOLD signal and miss an important response.
This paper shows the presented model can reproduce the BOLD signal without detrending.
In addition, this paper shows the error of the presented model without detrending is smaller than the errors of the existing models in the cases of with and without detrending.
