The Effect of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation to High Frequency Oscillations of Somatosensory Evoked Potential
Kazuya Masuda, Yoshinori Katayama, Keiji Iramina (Kyushu Univ) MBE2013-95
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a useful tool to effect excitability/inhibitory to neuron minimal-invasively. The previous study demonstrates the knowledge of tDCS on a single cell level. On the other hand, the argument about neurons localization under the influence of tDCS continues. In this research, we discuss the influence of tDCS to somatosensory evoked potential (SEP) and the high frequency components of SEP, high frequency oscillations (HFOs) and then, consider the localization of neuron of somatosensory area under the influence of tDCS.
