The more Miniaturization of switching power supplies is required with the background of the annual miniaturization of electric equipment. As the miniaturization of power supplies, the switching frequency become higher. It increases the switching-loss. This loss cause the lower efficiency. There are the technics called soft switching for reduce the loss and many circuit is suggested. Transient current circuit is one of the circuits and it reduce the switching-loss by zero current switching when this circuit is attached with buck converter so this circuit can be operated in high efficiency with high frequency. We have known that the problems of the circuit that the decrease of efficiency at light load and the complexity of the control. In this research, digital control is used in the circuit and this made the control easier. When the circuit is operated efficiently depended on the situation. |
