We proposed a gene amplification method that enables the detection against small amount of viruses. It is intended for application to nucleic acid amplification test (NAT) that is performed on a subject plasma samples for the Japanese Red Cross Society to ensure the safety of the blood supply. A metal coated hollow fiber membrane was used for detection of virus. The membrane was able to isolate nucleic acids after concentration of virus. Isolated nucleic acids were applied to LAMP(Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification). This method was rapid and sensitive detection. In this report, to detect DNA and RNA viruses in one step, we tried to apply nucleic acids of DNA or RNA virus in one step. RT-LAMP could also detect DNA or RNA virus in one step. As a result, be detectable both DNA and RNA viruses also stable were found. |
