Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we propose a reduction method of non-linear distortions for long input signals which are difficult in frequency domain methods of previous studies. The proposed method performs recursive process of the sub-processes: extraction non-linear distortion signal, inverse filtering with the distortion signal, and subtraction the equalized distortion signal from the input signal. To reduce the processing time of convolutions, An OverLap-Add method is used. Experimental results show that our method can equalize a non-linear distortion by 16.3dB for a music signal of about 4 minutes, that is impossible to equalize in the previous frequency domain method. We also performed non-linear distortion reductions of headphones in a simulated actual environment, which was an another issue of the previous studies. The equalize processes of headphones were executed using a dummy head microphone built-in an ear simulator whose acoustic impedance similar to the actual ear. As experimental results, our method can reduce non-linear distortions by 11.3dB. These results show that the proposed method is effective even if there are differences between equalizing and reproducing environments.
