A high efficiency power supply circuit is required in an RF energy harvester with limited receivable power. However, the efficiency of the rectifier is limited by the impedance mismatch with antenna. In addition, the following LDO regulator is needed to be high power efficiency and small implementation. In this study, we introduce a method of impedance matching between antenna and rectifier, and propose a small area LDO regulator with ACI(Adjustable Charge Injection) circuit. The proposed circuit fabricated in a standard 0.18-μm CMOS technology. The measured power efficiency including a matching network was 13% at a power supply of 1.8V. The LDO regulator with ACI circuit can be reduced power consumption and can suppress the use capacity only 1pF. |
