The effects of presentation time lag of visual and language stimulus on memorization performance.

(in English) How do we learn the arbitrary relations between the name and things? We focused on “time lag” and showed visual and language stimulus in various timing. We examined adults by memorization performance (Experiment 1) and choice using two figures (Experiment 2). As a result, the effect of the presentation time lag was seen. In experiment1, when a word precedes a figure, the performance in the condition with the time lag was higher than that in the consecutive condition. With the time lag, the performance in the language preceding condition was higher. In experiment2, the choice changed with time lag. The word presented in the centre of presentation interval was related with a figure shown earlier. These imply that implied that the time lag is used as a clue of the judgments and has an influence on the linkage.
