Trial production and efficiency evaluation of AGV wireless charging systems at LF Band

(in English) Recently, wireless charging systems by electromagnetic induction method or resonance method for mobile equipments and electric vehicles (EV), etc. have been studied, and wireless charging systems for low power devices are now commercially viable.
This paper intends to develop a wireless charging system for an AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle), in which batteries are used to drive the motor, and then to facilitate the system operation at the factory. Firstly, we carried out coil design, trial production, and the efficiency evaluations at LF(Low Frequency) band, and we put the wireless charging systems for an AGV in practical use. Secondly, since the size which coil can mount was restricted with the miniaturization of the AGV, we realized the miniaturization of the coil.
