Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we present a fundamental examination on analysis of extremely low frequency sound waves caused by tsunami. We show a numerical visualization of sound wave propagation using finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method considering altitude data of the islands of Japan. We made a numerical estimation of the properties of the 3-D sound wave propagation, and evaluate the modeling of tsunami-induced sound waves, compared with the observed data.
