| (in English) | This paper proposes an OpenFlow based routing mechanism for distributed key-value store using consistent hashing. Each server is allocated IDs of 2x integral multiples. The hash value of each required data key is stored in the destination IP address field. OpenFlow switches compare upper x bits of the hash value and IDs in a flow table so as to directly route the request packets to the destination servers. Processing load can consequently be reduced since it is not necessary to go via a relay server containing hash tables for determining destinations. Effectiveness of the proposed method is shown from viewpoints of the numbers of entries and transit packets. Flow table configuration is illustrated for realizing the above. | |
