Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the traditional infrastructure mode, stations using wireless LANs communicate
to fixed access points (APs). Furthermore, the user is possible to use a
wireless LAN anywhere by spreading a portable APs, and Wi-Fi direct technology
will encourage an increase in much small wireless LAN network. To avoid
collisions between nodes in such wireless LANs, the Carrier Sense Multiple
Access with Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA) scheme is used as the MAC protocol.
However, because the number of transmitted packets in a wireless network
increases, the communication performance of the whole network decreases. In this
paper, we proposed an autonomous dynamic transmission scheduling plus for
wireless LANs and ad-hoc networks that is based on the behavior of neighbor
nodes. In our scheme, each node sets up a transmission priority autonomously
based on the number of flows that flows into itself and the number of peripheral
nodes. In this paper, we evaluate the proposed scheme by performing simulations,
and show that it can improve performance in wireless LAN communications.
