| (in English) | Under the heterogeneous radio link aggregation environment, packets reach a receiver host in a different order caused by the delay difference between two links. With the TCP data transfer, a sender host retransmits a packet and makes a reduction of transfer rate using the congestion window control mechanism when it detects the incorrect packet order. However, if the sender host is the Linux OS machine, the transfer rate is maintained in some cases since it provides functions of the adjustment of the reordering parameter and the restoration of the congestion window with detection of wrong retransmission. In this paper, we formulate the rate estimation method for TCP connection under the heterogeneous radio link aggregation environment; LTE and Wireless LAN derived from the analysis of the implementation of the TCP congestion window control in the Linux kernel. In addition, we evaluate our rate estimation method by comparison with the experiment result. | |
