Development of Hemiplegia Rehabilitaion System by Introducing a Game Element

(in English) A new hemiplegia rehabilitation tool has been developed. It is constructed by a plate with 4 free rollers placed on 4 corners of regular tetragon and by plastic bowl with 4 finger supporters on outer surface. The plastic bowl is covered and bolted to the plate. This tool is named “gool-gul” temporarily, the gool-gul has two types, one with mouse, the another without mouse. None mouse type could be used for upper arm wide motion on a flat table, the mouse type is used for input device of new developed computer games for rehabilitation purpose. This device and game has been evaluated in some rehabilitation institutions.
