(in English) Single carrier(SC) method using frequency domain equalization(FDE) is a promising technique to cope with multipath channels in wireless communications. A cyclic prefix(CP) is often used to avoid inter-block interference(IBI) under multipath channel conditions. Howおがever, the CP insertion reduces the transmission efficiency. An overlap-FDE is a technique to avoid the CP insertion, but the residual interferences often exist after the FDE processing. We have proposed an overlap FDE with coherent averaging which suppresses the residual interferences of the conventional overlap FDE outputs and improves the equalization performances. In this paper, we evaluate and compare the bit error rate (BER) performances of SC using FDE with CP and without CP on condition of the same transmission efficiency.
