Sensing technology using radio wave has been attracting attention for
office/home security and surveillance. Detection or tracking of human
are the one of the emerging technology for the sensing. In addition,
motion classification/identification by using Doppler characteristics by
human motion can be utilized in the recent studies. However, such a
human motion can be frequency and direction sensitive. Therefore
fundamental study of the range-Doppler response in various directions
should be required to clarify characteristics of human motions. In this
report, we formulate and develop the micro-Doppler FM-CW radar for the
motion sensing and provide some experimental results to show frequency,
polarization, and directional characteristics in range-Doppler response. |
