Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we propose a method that abstracts an execution trace to help us to understand an outline of OO-software behavior. There is a method that visualizes an execution trace as a sequence diagram to comprehend a behavior of OO-software.A sequence diagram is often too huge to comprehend an outline of behavior due to size of an execution trace. Our method identifies and removes temporary objects in an execution trace by focusing on reference relations and lifetime as dynamic characteristics of objects. We conduct case studies with three open source software and discuss effectiveness of our approach.
