Improving cause-and-effect relationships among single-hop neighbors of wireless ad-hoc network in distributed emulation

(in English) In emulation environment, packets have to be delivered from sender to receiver in real-time. For a scalable emulation, distributed and parallel emulators have been developed. In distributed emulator EMANE, emulation is divided into Logical Processes(LPs), and each LP can process in parallel. To obtain the same result as performing emulation with sequential processing synchronization is needed among LPs. In WLAN emulation with EMANE, the both of the MAC-Layer retransmission times and the collision events cannot be synchronized among terminals(LPs), contradiction occur among LPs. In this paper, we propose a method to correct a cause-and-effect relationship among terminals for the collision and the retransmission times in MAC. We evaluate the proposed method and constructed environments scalability in the emulation.
