(in English) A HW/SW hybrid design environment for operating a circuit implemented on an FPGA is discussed. The authors have developed “ORB Engine” which enables a cooperation of software and hardware easily by operating the hardware on the FPGA as an object following the manner of distributed objects. This paper exhibits that the distributed processing of Android and an FPGA may improve the response time performance. This paper also introduces a case study of planning, designing, developing and verifying a cooperative system of Android and an FPGA by using ORB engine, in a Project Based Learning (PBL) class for third grade students in our university.
