We measured evoked myoelectric signals during Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) with band-type electrodes, and investigated the possibility for estimating muscle conditions using the signals. Artifacts of electic stimulation are often superimposed on evoked myoelectric signals, and it is difficult to eliminate them when we use band-type electrodes. For this purpose, we examined the characteristics of the obtained signals and found that we can get good indices of muscle conditions from the extrema of the signals even if artifacts are superimposed. This paper presents the experimental results and discussion for the muscle condition estimation. |
