Spectrum Features of Behavior of Adaptive Noise Canceller Applied to Frequency-fluctuating Periodic Interference

(in English) Under the situation where the periodic interference in biological signal has frequency-fluctuating nature, a problem is pointed out in
evaluating the ability of cancelling the interference
based on adaptive filters relying only on the
spectrum. As a property of adaptive periodic noise canceller,
so-called the self-cancelling-component has been clarified. The
self-cancelling-components appear on the spectrum as notches. On the
other hand, shortages of adaptation for frequency fluctuation appear on
the spectrum as peaks. Because both self-cancelling-components and
shortages of adaptation happen simultaneously, it is thought that
spectra with no notches and peaks exist. We present a numerical example where such condition is satisfied.
