Analysis of Bifurcation Phenomena in Simple Pulse-coupled Spiking Circuits

(in English) This paper studies a simple pulse-coupled spiking neuron with filtered base signal.
The dynamics depends crucially on the shape of the base signal.
The coupled system has periodic base signal applying a basic RC-Low Pass Filter to the periodic square source signal.
As a key parameter varies, the shape of the base signal varies and the system can exhibit bifurcation phenomena of various periodic/chaotic spike-trains.
Typical phenomena by the pulse-coupling corresponds to single neuron's phenomena.
These phenomena can be analyzed by composite 1D phase map
and can be also confirmed with the bifurcation sets.
