Noise Estimation Based on the Temporal Variation Distribution of SNR

(in English) An approach for noise estimation focusing on temporal variation of SNR is proposed. To the present, although a various attempts have been proposed to improve the accuracy of non-stationary noise estimation, these attempts cause the trade-off between improvement of the noise estimation accuracy and reduction of the speech false detection rate in many cases. To solve this issue, we choose the procedure to estimate the stationary noise and the non-stationary noise respectively. In this paper, the stationary noise estimation is described. In the proposed method, first, the probabilistic model is designed based on the temporal variation distribution of SNR on the stationary noise. And then the stationary noise with high accuracy is achieved by optimizing this probabilistic model by means of the MAP estimation. The simulation shows that the proposed method is able to achieve the noise suppression with smaller distortion than the conventional methods.
