Time-frequency analysis for a signal with high chirp rate and the application to the smart mixer

(in English) Smart mixer which aims at the spectrum structure in the time-frequency plane emphasizes a primary input signal and mixes input signals. Smart mixer generates time-frequency plane using the STFT. However the STFT is unsuitable for analyzing a signal with high chirp rate. Therefore, how to analyze a signal with high chirp rate is one of important problem of the high performance smart mixer. In this paper, we propose a time-frequency analysis method which can adapt to a signal with high chirp rate by introducing various chirp rates in discrete Fourier transform. We verified the efficacy of this method in the following two points. First, we evaluated the proposed method performance. Second, we showed that smart mixer perform effectively using proposed method.
