[Invited Lecture] Research and Development of Routing and Access Control Technologies Focusing on Direction and Space

(in English) We have conducted research and development of routing and access control technologies focusing on direction and space.
We have developed direction oriented routing protocols (DORP) which restrict propagation of broadcast packets either of forward or backward.
In addition, we have developed novel directional medium access control (DMAC) protocols solving a directional hidden terminal problem.
These routing and MAC protocols by considering road environment can achieve higher delivery ratio and throughput, respectively.
Furthermore we have built car-mounted systems for verification of routing and MAC protocol.
Verification systems are built by the software radio platform called GNU Radio/USRP2 (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) and several kinds of directional antennas.
In this paper, we introduce elemental technologies and describe future plans of this study.
