We are studying the Wideband Non-Contiguous OFDM (WNC-OFDM) to utilize an unused frequency band. The WNC-OFDM can realize a high-speed communication by gathering OFDM sub-carriers which are located at unused frequency bands from 170MHz to 2GHz. Since a WNC-OFDM transmission uses multiple frequency bands at the same time, its receiver is configured as the wideband. That is, the receiver receives not only the WNC-OFDM signals but also the signals of other systems at the same time. From this, there is the issue of decreasing signal interferences from the other systems to increase a quality of receiving WNC-OFDM signals. In this paper, we describe effects of signal interferences in a WNC-OFDM receiver from the other systems by the experimental equipment and the computer simulation for building a scheme to decrease the signal interferences. |
