A highly ordered nanostructure is proposed for hybrid solar cells using TiO2 nanotubes and polymers. The structure is comprised of an outer TiO2 nanotube, a middle peripheral tube of poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and a nanorod of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) inside of the P3HT tube. To realize this structure, we developed a “slow-drying” method to form the P3HT tube with controllable thickness in modified TiO2 nanotubes. The hybrid solar cells with the proposed structure showed low serial resistance and high fill factor. |
