Small bus technology for scientific satellites -- Accomplishments of HISAKI/SPRINT-A and future perspective --

(in English) The Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (ISAS/JAXA) launched the Spectroscopic Planet Observatory for Recognition of Interaction of Atmosphere (SPRINT-A), whose nickname was decided as ‘HISAKI’, by the first Epsilon Launch Vehicle in September 2013. In this paper, accomplishments of the semi-custom-made flexible satellite bus (SPRINT bus) is reviewed. Also by introducing working-group activity under the ISAS Aerospace Engineering Committee, future perspective of small bus technology for scientific satellites is described.
