To develop more accurate ultrasonic tissue characterization, it is important to how the acoustic properties of biological tissue relates to the structure and composition of them. Focusing on speed of sound (SOS) and attenuation as acoustic properties of rat organs using 250 MHz ultrasonic transducer with high resolution equal to cell size. This paper shows the difference of acoustic properties between cirrhosis liver and normal liver. In addition, we measured the acoustic properties of kidney and spleen which have a different tissue structure from liver. |
