Antennas cause scattering and reradiation when it is irradiated microwave. Radar cross section (RCS) reduction method using these interference cancellation was examined. Small difference of the path between the scattering and reradiating is required for broadband RCS reduction using the interference. RCS reduction of the dipole antenna which operated at 1 GHz and connected a phase shifter which tuned the reradiation phase and short circuit termination was demonstrated. RCS of the dipole antenna which operated at 9 GHz could also be reduced with the design which tuned the length of the feed line. |
