A Relation between Resolution and Recognition Rate in Iris Recognition

(in English) As the first stage, we analyze a relationship between resolution and recognition rate iof iris recognition by an experiment in order to find a best integration of face recognition and iris recognition. Typically in a single camera face and iris integration. If the subject comes closer to the camera, resolution of iris image and recognition rate rises. While taking a whole face becomes difficult. On the other hand, if the subject is getting far from the camera, resolution of iris image and recognition rate goes down. while shooting the whole face is becomes easy. In this experiment, iris images are taken from the distances of 0.1m, 0.2m, 0.3m, 0.4m, 0.5m and recognition rate change is examined. By considering the effect of image resolution on the iris recognition, the resolution and filed of view trade off will be solved in face and iris fusion.
