Organic electro-optic (EO) devices have attracted much attention as a next generation optical modulator, where EO polymers are utilized with poling. Thermal stability is a key factor for the practical application of EO polymers. Thus, the development of the evaluation method of thermal stability is necessary. Thermally stimulated current (TSC) method is available for this evaluation. In this study, for two kinds of EO polymers, i.e., Guest/host polymer SKNEO33/PMMA and Side chain polymer DR1-co-PMMA, we examined the dipolar relaxation times by employing thermally stimulated depolarization current measurements. |
