Pupil contour detection from low resolution infrared images using intensity distribution around local maxima of edges

(in English) Extraction of pupil position is used in many gaze-tracking system.There are, however, obstractive objects like an eyelid or glints around a pupil contour.Their influence are increase particularly in low-resolution images. In this research, we propose and investigate a method that decrease erroneous detection using polar coordinates and feature description around edge maxima for low-resolution infrared eye images.
