A consideration of a detuned sample length dependency in PIM measurement using Standing Wave Coaxial Tube Method

(in English) This report discuss a consideration of a detuned sample length dependency in PIM measurement using Standing Wave Coaxial Tube Method.
First, equivalent circuit of Standing Coaxial Tube Method is modeled as a distributed constant circuit.
It is confirmed that the result of calculation of proposed method and measurement seen the similar tendency.
Therefore, the proposed method is able to calsulate using only the length of DUT without demanding equivalent lumped resistance.
Next, it is consider that the influence of the DUT length on PIM level using the proposed calculation method.
It is able to calculate bonding amount between the coaxial tube and the DUT by return loss of the proposed method or measurement.
From the result, it is confirmed that the insertion length charactaristic of bonding amount and the PIM level is seen similar tendency,
and to be able to calculate the influence of the DUT length on PIM level by the bouding amount.
