2.4 GHz Real-Time Load Tracking Circuit for Automatic Impedance Matching

(in English) We prototyped a 2.4 GHz Real-Time Load Tracking (R-TLT) circuit for automatic impedance matching. The R-TLT circuit consists of a variable matching circuit, a detection module, and amplifier circuits. We measured the return loss and the insertion loss of the prototype at 19 different load impedances $Z_{L}$. Return loss of the prototype is 18 dB or better at each $Z_{L}$. The improvement of the return loss is 21.08 dB most at Z_{L}$=15.1-j30.1 $Omega$. The insertion loss of the prototype is 0.61 dB minimum at $Z_{L}$=15.1-j30.1 $Omega$, and 9.05 dB maximum at $Z_{L}$=19.2+j53.1 $Omega$.
